Unable to connect to the server error

If you are receiving a message that you are unable to connect to the server please check the following:

1. Check for virus programs or firewalls blocking your outgoing mail port
2. ISP blocking the outgoing mail port
3. Correct mail server address is entered

There are 2 ways to get around if the problem is #1 or #2 above:
  1. Change the outgoing mail to use the alternate port 587 
  2. Use your ISP's outgoing mailserver instead of the stores
